WIND!
Yes, WIND.
For a long time wind has been something that only happens to other people but now it's time to take it seriously. To answer the question: "What are wind"? First it is necessary to experience a wind, not once but at least three times and first hand too. Second hand information is dangerous when dealing with the broad range of winds currently available.
Weather generally is literally everywhere, now so more than ever and with wind getting bigger every day you need to know what makes it tick, not like a clock though. That would be weird.
Its a popular myth that wind occurs when air moves around, apparently at different speeds. *That's like saying water moves because it wants to* The fact is that air doesn't move at all, ever. Wind 'happens' all over the place, depending on how fast the world (or 'Earth') is spinning, which direction it's spinning in and which day it is.
Something that's universally accepted is that there is much more wind on top of a hill or mountain and that's simply because its taller and spinning faster, like the end of a stick being brought down on a naughty dog or child. The stick wielder's hand is pretty slow but the end of the stick will move fast enough to make a karate chop noise, like in the films and some books. When all said and done, wind is not something to be feared, unless it's really frightening. Even then it doesn't need to be a problem unless you are really flat and wide, like a fence or wall.
Usually, the sort of person who claims to have been adversely effected by a wind is someone who simply wasn't ready to be near one. Maybe they were never really aware of what day it was or why, and as such deserved to be so, or not so so.
I'm no expert but I do know that if you put your balls on the line, and that line is Old Mother Nature's, then she is going to blow your balls, hard...
Stay safe out there.
(Photos to follow, as soon as I see some wind.)
